These morning stretches will wake up body and mind

Done right, a series of morning stretches are a wonderful way to prepare yourself for the day ahead. During your morning routine, taking a moment to stretch might not be top of your list, however it is worth it to set your alarm a little earlier to wake up your body, mind and soul. These morning stretches focus on opening your heart area and waking up your entire body after a night's sleep. Starting in a resting position, our trainer Camila will take you through the different soft yoga poses to get rid of any heaviness that your body might still be holding on to. Just roll out your mat or blanket and in just 25 minutes you’ll feel energised and ready to tackle all the things that cross your path.

Fitness instructor Camila is originally from Guatemala, but has been living in the Netherlands for the last 2.5 years. You will normally find her teaching cycling, HIIT, boxing and movement classes. She believes that moving our bodies is the ultimate act of self-love and that combining mindfulness into any type of exercise is key to keeping motivated and inspired. In her spare time she loves to dance, read, hang out with the people she loves, have deep conversations about the universe and play with her cat.
